Focus on a project of your own choosing while taking your knowledge of printing to the next level. We will explore the mechanism of the Vandercook, and all the adjustments that can make the difference between simply adequate and truly fine printing. We will discuss everything from text to design to registration to color mixing and ink additives, and help you achieve a new understanding of the interdependence of form and content, art and craft. Barbara Henry prints special projects for the Center for Book Arts. She was, for over 20 years, Curator of Bowne & Co., Stationers and her work is in many libraries and special collections.
