Hot Stamping and Guillotine Training for Binders
Get trained to use the Center's motorized guillotine paper cutter, and to use our hot stamping equipment in one workshop. The guillotine makes it easy to cut large stacks of paper and to trim the edges of books. Completion of this course (or a waiver) is required for authorization to use the machinery. We will also cover lettering techniques for stamping titles and text on your books, using our Kwikprint Hot Stamping Presses. You will also be briefed on studio policies for renters in the bindery. Required course for our certificate program. Deadline to register: One week before class starts.
