classes in the bindery
return to full schedule of classes

Learn the principles of bookbinding and boxmaking as you construct a chunky book and build a box to enclose it. Book and box are inextricably linked, as the vellum supports for the sewn text block are laced into the spine of its wrap-around box. Vellum patches reinforce the spine and add a decorative element enhanced by a button and loop closure.
Deadline to register: One week before the class starts.
