A Pop-Up Field Guide to North American Flowers
In this two-day workshop, you will build 10-12 pop-up folios featuring native flowers of North America. For those who have taken pop-up workshops in the past, this will be a great opportunity to explore real-world applications of basic structures. For those who haven't taken a pop-up class before, this will be a great opportunity to learn about tools, materials, and a number of fundamental techniques while building these flowers. You can bind this collection of cards and keep them as a book or gift them to family and friends. Either way, you will have the knowledge to continue engineering your own pop-ups at home. No experience is necessary, but binding and/or sewing skills will speed your progress. Deadline to register: One week before the class starts.
