Bookbinding for Teachers
This one-day workshop is designed for primary education teachers. The methods and techniques demonstrated may be modified to accommodate the needs of other age groups. We will explore a wide range of book structures that are simple and easy to instruct. Accordions, pamphlets, pop-ups, and other 3-dimensional books will be covered throughout the day. This class is a great way to expand your knowledge of art making and successfully bring it into the classroom. The ideas covered in class translate well into a wide variety of subjects including; math, science, language, social studies, and the arts. Come and join us for a day of creative book making. No experience necessary.Stephanie Krause August 14 , Saturday, 10am - 4pm Stephanie Krause is an art teacher and book artist and was the Center's featured artist in 1995.
