The Center for Book Arts' Anual Benefit is an occasion for us to celebrate our accomplishments over the past year, and pay tribute to individuals who have made a lasting contribution to the practice or interpretation of book arts. This year we are pleased to recognize the following individuals for their achievements and commitment to furthering the field of book arts:
Mary Austin, founder of the San Francisco Center for the Book
Steve Miller, book artist and educator at University of Alabama
Barbara Moore, independent scholar of artists' books and performance art
Claire Van Vliet, printmaker-bookmaker
We are pleased to celebrate the admirable achievements of these individuals at our
2013 Annual Benefit & Silent Auction on
Friday, April 5, 2013, from 6 to 9 pm, with an After-Party from 9 to 11 pm. We hope you will join us for an enchanting spring evening of music, cocktails, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and a rousing live auction featuring work by acclaimed artists.
This year we'll be holding an After-Hours DJ Party from 9 until 11pm with DJ Vince Chase. Tickets are only $30 each, or $50 for two. Join us for music and cocktails and support the Center.
Please consider purchasing a tax-deductible ticket to the Center's Annual Benefit & Auction today.
With the generosity of friends like you, the Center will continue its remarkable success.
Sincerely,
Ellen Zeifer, Chair, Board of Directors
