My books and sculpture form a meditative response to an inner dialogue between our natural elements of hope and despair, violence and tenderness, discipline and mercy. A synthesis between meaning and form germinates from these considerations. I feel that art that moves the spirit as well as the intellect can interact with individuals engaging them in a personal dialogue.

The books combine various combinations of materials, each starting with paper onto which drawing is incorporated with both abstract and realistic components. Acrylic paint, drawing with a wood burning tool, fine pointed markers, watercolor, tooled aluminum, colored pencils, poetry and pertinent quotations complete the communicative capacities of each idea.
