Farewellmyhomeland and Crossing reflect on forced migration at the moment of crossing borders. Events covered in the twentieth century begin with the Balkan Wars of 1912 and move across the borders of India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Mexico, Gaza, Kosovo, Germany, China, Rwanda, Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Albania, Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan and more.
The documentary images are important as part of the imaginary which addresses individual subjectivities.
