Looking at insect societies, flocks of birds and most recently wrestlers as metaphors for modes of human communication, my work deals with relationships, relativism and how we make meaning. Utilizing structures or captured moments as remnants or documents of experience, my works draws conclusions as to the nature of our relationships to each other. Beginning with an individual within a larger context, I consider how connections build a web that speaks to our individual agency and our interdependence.
