Brendan Carroll
Jersey City, NJMoney Shot Money Shot is a collection of 100 Polaroid photographs of family members or friends. An anecdote is typewritten on the lower white margin of each Polaroid photograph. Each Polaroid photograph is a portrait of a single person. The portrait displays the model's back, from dorsum to head. Money Shot is a visual journal of the friends and family members that I have come across in the past three years. The anecdotes are fictional or derived from personal memory, other people's memories, and actual events.
