All of my books are conceived as linear visual narratives. Most are in black and white and are wordless. The stories are metaphoric, aphoristic and spare. The themes are diverse. Black and white relief printed imagery had to bear the burden of proof for this kind of condensed visual storytelling. Many of the books are in special collections libraries such as those of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MOMA, the Victoria & Albert Museum, Harvard, Yale and others.
Babette Katz's work appeared in the following exhibition(s) organized by The Center for Book Arts
