exhibitions

Welcome to The Center for Book Arts Interactive Database of Exhibitions.

This is a work in progress. Eventually you will be able to curate your own exhibitions in an online gallery by selecting works that have been exhibited at the Center during the last 30 years. The database will be fully searchable. This project will take several years, and also will result in the production of an art book on book art in coffee-table format.

To see an example of what we are working towards, with a complete online catalog of the exhibition, look at Book Arts in the USA.

If you are an artist who has shown work at the Center and the exhibition you were in is not listed here, please contact us.

Further archive materials which haven't yet been entered into the database can be found here.

Please help support this archive project.

Support for the Center's Collections Initiative, including our online Exhibition archive, comes from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation, and the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation. Major funding for the Center's Capacity Building programs is provided by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.
